A truly unique oversized grandad cardigan with naturally dyed trims and pockets. A classic V neck cardigan, knit to order in a natural sheep shade with contrasting rib trims in spring shades of naturally dyed yellows and orange/reds.
Knitted by me in rural Lincolnshire on my vintage hand-powered knitting machine in a beautiful soft but 'sheepy', worsted spun 100% British wool. Depending on the dye plants available at the time there maybe a difference in the shades of the contrast ribs - so each cardigan is totally unique!
100% British wool, a blend of Bluefaced Leicester and Masham wool, reared and spun within 50 miles of the Yorkshire mill.
The Corozo buttons are made from nuts from the Tagua palm from the rainforests in Ecuador, they are sustainable and nicknamed 'vegan ivory'. I have naturally dyed them to compliment the shades of the yarns.
Available in a one size fits all as shown on Joelle,(5'), Lucy (5'1") and Angie (5'9").
The approximate measurements laid flat are -
Chest 26.5" (67cm), length 25.5" (64.5cm), armhole depth 8.5" (21.5cm), V neck depth 9.5" (24cm).
Lead time - 4 weeks, but I will try to get it to you sooner if I can!
